Residency Learning Community Coordinator

Scope of Position:

Lead, coordinate, and facilitate the Residency program components involved in the spiritual and character development and the professional formation of Residents. Cultivate a holistic learning and living community that encourages students to flourish spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually in their Christian faith.

Reports to: Director, Residency Experience

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, plan, and execute experiential learning opportunities for residents, including offsite retreats and the annual commissioning ceremony.
  2. Serve as Residency representative on the Institute calendar team to provide coordination of Fellows and Residency programs.
  3. Coach Residents in leadership development, vocational understanding, and discipleship.
  4. Create and execute all graduate peak experiences.
  5. Respond to emergency situations for Residents and Fellows.   
  6. Support the Enrollment team by being available for Residency recruitment activities and applicant interviews.
  7. Serve as guest presenter for graduate leadership and/or spiritual formation courses.

Requirements:

  1. An evangelical believer practicing an active faith in a New Testament-based denomination and is in unreserved agreement with the Institute’s Statement of Faith and Biblical Conduct and Lifestyle Standards. Must support the vision, values, philosophy and community standards of Impact 360 Institute.
  2. Live on campus with residents and maintain accessibility during scheduled business and evening hours.
  3. A Master’s degree in relevant field.
  4. At least 3 years of relevant work experience in spiritual formation of college students required. Residence life experience preferred.
  5. Demonstrated effective judgment, discernment, leadership and decision-making skills. Ability to multi-task and lead multiple projects to successful completion.
  6. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team player and team builder. Demonstrated highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  7. Must have fewer than 3 driving violations in the last 5 years; ability to drive a 15-passenger van.
  8. Requires occasional travel for the facilitation of student programming as well as for staff training, development, and planning retreats.
